>runs linux
yes, not that you can play around with it (yet)
>unnoticable delay running on 2.4GHz across the house in basement
dunno how true that is, over wired and 5ghz ac it works great though on beautiful
>comfy gaymin on sofa

>comfy

gaming is a meme
The Steam Link doesn't run anything, it just lets you stream games off your computer. That being said it is comfy and I've grown to like the Steam Controller.
>>54385181
How bad is the input lag though?
>>54385181
>doesn't run anything
"The Steam Link software is custom Linux firmware based on kernel 3.8 and glibc 2.19."
>>54385350
I've never noticed any kind of lag but I use a wired connection.
>>54384712
just buy a laptop kiddo
>>54385350
don't have exact numbers but it's not very noticeable, even playing online its pretty solid
if you play any twitch shooters you could probably notice the difference but it works pretty well in general
>>54385181
you can just stream just about any programs over if you add them to steam
>>54385637
>Laptop
Please set yourself on fire and run very fast.
>kiddo lol
>>54384712
costs more and lags more than a 50-foot HDMI cable ... but not /too much/ more.
if you're really the couch gaming type and already have a decent desktop (in another room), it'll probably float your boat
>>54385350
The lag is too bad to play local multiplayer skullgirls at top performance.
The lag is fine for an online multiplayer skullgirls match.
The lag is completely unnoticeable on BioShock infinite or fallout 4.
>>54387277
4 you
>>54384712
>unnoticable delay
If you are a fucking pleb.
>>54387600
tested with rocket league and lego, I don't see shit 60 down 11 up
>>54388407
>I don't see shit
And thats why you are a fucking pleb, not noticing latency of gameplay being streamed is tje clearest sign of being a fuckinb pleb.
