In any case I don't care because I've always had the latest version of Android thanks to Nexus. I recently upgraded from 5 to 6P and I couldn't be happier.

Last week I saw a guy at the train opening Facebook on his iPhone 4. It took 15 fucking seconds. Meanwhile, my 2012, 200 dollar Nexus 4 runs faster than 90% of phones that come out nowadays.

The really sad part is that many of those devices will never be offered an OS upgrade, that's why they are stranded on old releases.
My 4.2.x tablet, for instance, won't ever be upgraded because the maker now only supports his Win10 models.
