Why can't mediatek into GPUs?
They make great processors, powerful and efficient, and sometimes better than qualcomm. But they just fall flat on their faces for GPU.

I've been wondering this for a while now
MediaTek does not make CPUs or GPUs. They license stock ARM IP.
They only use as many execution units in the IGP in their chips as they feel necessary, and as allowed by the thermal margin, and power consumption provided by the process they're fabbed on.
