When she started buying other companies completely unrelated to Yahoo's core business.
Oh, and Yahoo not having a relevant core business in the first place.
Alibaba money kept it afloat but now funds are low and no one uses or advertises using Yahoo.
If it wasn't her it would have been someone else. The business just isn't viable or relevant anymore.
