The XB270HU was IPS. And yet every single monitor I bought was riddled with dead pixels, had piss poor uniformity, unforgivable backlight bleed, or was just outright defective. Acer or otherwise.
Over 20 monitors total, over the span of about half a year or so.
All of them were complete and utter garbage.
Not to mention every single unit I returned was probably sold right back to some poor schmuck who just doesn't know any better.

I need a large workstation monitor now, and I don't feel like upgrading twice in a relatively short timespan.
Right now, 30" 2560x1600@60Hz is still more useful to me than 2560x1440@144Hz or whatever.
The extra 11% vertical space helps more than it might sound.

Then post a picture of the 4chan background because the picture you posted looks ok. Sure, the center of the display is slightly brighter and the sides are slightly warmer, but I doubt it's something you can notice in regular use unless you look for it. You won't get much better than that.
