For me it's the opposite. I dropped FF because I was having issues with HTML5 video playback, but every other tracker I try has a dozen little issues that trigger me hard, so I'm stuck with Firefox. I stream most of my videos through mpv anyway so whatever.
Other browsers don't cater to my autism so I'll stick with it for now.
Only reason I used ff was vimperator but I found out about qutebrowser so I'm going to switch to that once I set up the config file.
Only thing I don't like about it is that it uses the blink engine but whatever

i used it for a while as well I had no problems - I think I removed it bcaue I couldn't disable some default things which were annoying and the tab system was dog shit - but then some people shilled here that it's shitty and that it sends that to some German organization and w/e explanations they gave.

Yeah ive been using firefox many year now, i try to convince myself that its shit because of the addons i have, but it really is getting shittier and slower every year, to the point that if i don't restart it constantly it makes me drop frames in games.

Been using firefox since it came out, and ngl it's gotten pretty fat over the years. If I weren't such a shmuck for aesthetics, I'd probably switch to botnet canary or chromium. As it it, though, Firefox is still the king of customization. Sorta wish an nonshit-tier competitor would come along with focus on privacy and simplicity/nobloat.

It's like having to choose between chronic diarea or aids. Both suck only one is slightly worse. Chrome=botnet, Opera will be owned by the chinese soon, browsers like maxthon are already owned by the chinese and a lot of the open source alternatives have rendering problems. Firefox may suck but for me its the best browser at the moment.

servo currently (as of 3 days ago) has nothing, you can go compile it yourself, it just takes a long fukcing time.. it's literally just the engine, no browser around it, barely runs any sites, can't run imgur, 4chan, anything really..
Firefox started getting unreasonably slow for me. Even with addons/extensions disabled and one tab open, there would always be a ~two second delay whenever performing ANY action. Does anyone know what causes this? It only started last week, and I really don't want to make Chrome my permanent browser over this.

Firefox had an add-on that used to let me open multiple links via left click using green rectangles but but the recent update killed it so no use actually staying ff since chrome loads faster

I prefer FF over other browsers. Not perfect but suits me more than Chromium. Opera-dev has built in unlimited VPN though , pretty fun for shitposting on the go.

I do not understand this spicy meme. I have a few content blockers but that's about it. Everyone's always whinging about firefox crawling to a halt, but I've only had that happen with intensive experimental shit, like 3D browser games and that sort of thing.
But whenever I say this, I get "hurr how many monies dos jewlord mozilla pay u ??" spammed at me. Believe me, if I could sign up to get paid for apparently having the only functional install of firefox I would.
