Many online bookstores carry these green editions or K&R. They ship from India and are cheaper than used copies of the white ANSI K&R. What's the catch? Is there a difference in quality for the poo in loo versions?
>International editions
Expect cheaper paper and binding.
There's also this suspicious minty fresh version. Anyone have this?
I am Indian and not aware of this poo in loo version. I have original White cover K&R.This book has changed my view how to code.

Lots of textbooks have international editions for the countries that can't/wont pay the exorbitant costs that people in the US pay.

I used to get my university textbooks from India/Bangladesh. I laughed at people paying $150+ per book from the university bookstore when I'd get mine for $25-40 shipped.
The only differences are lower quality paper, the pictures/illustrations are black and white, and it comes as a paperback. Other than that it is exactly the same book.
The EEE (green version) is the same text, but the paper quality is worse. The back cover is also wrong (is the back for the solutions manual), but it's better than paying 80 bucks
