This is far too soon for anyone to claim superiority. VR is still small and a ton of companies are doing research.
Maybe Apple brings out a VR headsets and normies eat it up like the shit they're used to. Or any other companies invent better ways like retina beaming or whatever is possible. We won't know for a few years.

I don't hate Apple. It's not like they're making bad products. It's just that they might promote bad ideas about technology. But they do tend to innovate. Or at least make interesting, but overlooked technology mainstream. I don't really have anything to live for besides things I can do on my computer, so I think they're doing the right thing by innovating and make companies with less market share produce the niche products I like.

Pro tip: The article says Samsung is making their own VR shit without Oculus. Samsung probably realized VR is too big of an opportunity to play second fiddle hardware partner to Oculus and Jewbook.
