When America elects this woman we are all fucked.

>"I would hope that, given the extraordinary capacities that the tech community has and the legitimate needs and questions from law enforcement, that there could be a Manhattan-like project, something that would bring the government and the tech communities together to see they're not adversaries, they've got to be partners," Clinton continued. "It doesn't do anybody any good if terrorists can move toward encrypted communication that no law enforcement agency can break into before or after. There must be some way. I don't know enough about the technology, Martha, to be able to say what it is, but I have a lot of confidence in our tech experts."

If she beats out Bernie Sanders, then Donald Trump will become president of the United States. Bernie Sanders supporters are almost half of the democratic party and they're running a "Bernie of Bust" mindset. They hate Hillary and most likely won't vote for her, or anyone.

Trump is gonna win.

More like the government lending loans to kid, and so they can make profit on them.

No Credit Card, Car Dealer, Renter, House would lean that much money to a student without a solid history of paying it back. Student Loans are predatory loans.

The students are idiots, but yes, those are predatory loans.
I'm not sure about debt forgiveness though, perhaps retroactively, but really, should probably just stop giving out the loans, and then either
A) Encourage trade schools, and discourage college
B) Find a way to make college cheaper.

Have you seen our high schools? if our colleges were free then they would go down to that level. American public high school is an obsolete concept that should be replaced by anyone who cares about their kids with private/charter schools, and college is slowly heading in the same direction.
>>
>>54323937
Simply not true.

1645 (Clinton) v 1318 (Sanders) in terms of pledged delegates at this point.

712 super delegates are in addition to that. Those would be establishment party members who fucked Clinton out of the last nomination vs Obama in a similar way.

Also keep in mind a state like California has not even voted and has around 500 delegates to pledge.

The people reporting Clinton as winning are the same people who are paying Clinton.

http://www.politico.com/blogs/media/2015/05/clinton-foundation-donors-include-dozens-of-media-organizations-individuals-207228

The democratic nominee will be picked by super delegates at the DNC. The outcome of California doesn't even matter in this regard (it wont change results significantly). It is important to remember that choice is being made by party members separately from state primary and caucuses and will not happen for a few months.

Im voting red simply because I feel that the political pendulum needs to go back to the center. We have been under democrats judgements for far too long, we need to become moderate again. The evil communist Northern Europe has free schooling and they're still topping the charts. What if you overhauled your taxing system and tried not to invade too many countries so the government would have enough money to run those public schools at competetive level?

If we made our colleges free at our current state then it would be a complete disaster. Our highschools are third world tier and our colleges would sink just as low. It would require a complete overhaul of our tax system to make it work. As for now, I plan on sending my kids to charter schools and possibly private colleges, if I can get a decent paying job.

Regardless how viable it is, non-breakable encryption raises all sorts of problems for law enforcement (under which terrorism prevention also falls, but not just it), money laundering and other organized crime, and so on.

For society to keep working, I lean to to agree with the need to somehow mitigate this. Internet-dwellers of the sort that mostly comprises 4chan/reddit/etc/etc might rage, but that's the reality in my opinion.
>>
>>54323855

>social and economic progress

Senpai we live in an oligarchy where everybody hates everybody else and real income hasn't changed for anyone outside the top 10% in 40 years, what social and economic progress are you talking about
>>
>>54324581
The evil communist northern Europe also has a tiny fraction of the population, a plurality of parties, an empowered electorate, and very little gerrymandering. We in the States call that a state. You think you'd elect Merkel as president of Europe? What about Cameron?
>>
This isn't a bad idea. It's only bad because it will be used on US citizens.

We SHOULD use it on the Chinese, European Union, and middle east
>>
>>54324666
It's not possible to mitigate, it's all or nothing.

Also, we have not had any massive problems from unbreakable encryption.
Not to mention we already have hardware backdoors everywhere.
Money Laundering and organized crime will communicate just as well whether or not encryption is "legal".
>>
>>54324666
Unbreakable encryption enables private speech (or allegories thereof). Infringing on the ability to maintain private speech is undeniably more dangerous than a few little criminals.

You don't just get to use the terrorists card, that's what got us into the position we are now. You'll need something far worse.
>>
Numbers of terrorists who got away because of encryption? 0
If the american gov wasn't so busy trying to steal infos encryptin would be way less popular.

Let's think of the possible case where they actually do outlaw encryption and enforced the law. Would it be the downfall of USA?
No business would want to send data over the internet as espionage would be easier than ever. Online banking would cease to exist as well as everything else that required passwords.

Who lets these retards making this shit up be in charge of anything worth value?
>>
>>54323958
This.

Shillary getting in means that we'll have 4 years of stagnation or regression - she's got a track record of never getting anything done ever paired with crookedness at every turn. No one wants someone who can't do anything in any leadership position they've been GIVEN.
>>
What you need to understand is that this manhattan like project for encryption already exists, and her showing support for it is a cynical ploy to get the NSA's efforts approved after they already did it.
You think 1024 bit DH broke itself?
>>
>>54324980
He tried but no one would listen. Rand has been on /g/'s radar for many years. Everyone on /g/ supported encryption and personal liberties until Trump came along.

Agree completely. I'm an independent (left libertarian). Have followed Sanders for years in the Senate and happy to see him this close to president. Will vote green or libertarian if he does not win the nomination from the DNC super delegates. Fucking tired of people assuming a vote against Trump defaults to Hillary. I'll vote for the candidate who closest supports policies I like and if they want my vote they will need to fucking earn it. Failure to vote this way just perpetuates a broken system. Fucking tired of this party line bullshit.

There is a reason Washington warned us political parties would be a huge mistake. Both parties are paid off with unlimited funds by the same corporate overlords now. turd sandwich v douchebag was just breaking the surface.
