yes it is better, by far. The UI alone is all the reason to use foobar over wmp, but there's also all the plugin support and readouts too. Replaygain and flac conversion and tagging and spectral anyalysis and all the visualizers and readouts you could want, great playlist support, and it's all presented to you in a format that you can completely customize

Does anyone know how to fix this? I accidentally fucked something up with the settings that made the 'File' button disappear, so I closed out of all the other panels hoping it would somehow get it back and let me start over, but now it's a fucking vegetable. I already tried uninstalling + reinstalling.

ctrl-p didn't work at first so I ended up deleting the whole file, uninstalling and reinstalling, then it worked. It's fixed, so never mind.
