Just speccy being a buggy piece of shit.

Well, considering its a dual vore with HT from 2010 that's not even sandy bridge, I'd say a small amount of bottlenecking in your gaymes.
>>
>>54300702
Moderate bottleneck, you should upgrade soon OP.
>>
>>54300702
I almost forgot how awful first gen core i series was. http://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp[]=767&cmp[]=796
>>
>>54301201
Not op but what would be a goof cpu to buy for all the newest games?
>>
>>54301487
Any recent I5.
Depends on your budget and motherboard.
>>
>>54301487
Even Sandy Bridge CPUs would be good for games today, specifically the 2500k.

Going into Ivy Bridge and above, basically this

Pretty bad, I had a FX8350 and that too was bottlenecking my GTX 970, the 4690K is just perfect, now GPU hits 99% all the time, vsync disabled obviously.

That's not bad, unless you're a gamer kid who needs i7+gtx980ti
>>
>>54303285
its not so bad but i wish i would have saved for a stronger cpu

the gpu doesnt matter for me but its loud as fuck i wish i got a quieter one
>>
>>54303322
Why don't you sell it off and get a cheap i3 6100+gtx750ti...
>>
>>54303276
I've got FX 6300 paired with R9 380.

It's good. Life is good.
>>
>>54303333
If only FX6300 was good enough for dark souls 3.
>>
>>54303407
Is it not? I've been meaning to try it.

I guess I'll live on without it. One game I do care about is Mount and Blade, and that will run on anything. I am worried about new Mount and Blade that's coming out though.
>>
>>54303457
Yeah, dark souls 3 plays poorly on any AMD CPU, since it's putting heavy load only to one core.
>>
>>54303473
I've checked the requirements and minimum is APU A8-3870K, so according to that it should run.

Someone has put a video on YouTube with FX 6300 and GTX 960 and it looks fine to me.
>>
>>54303516
It runs poorly, 30-50 fps with random drops isn't "fine". I want solid 60fps, doesn't matter if game will look shit, but that won't happen.

I've just spent some time looking at that video and FPS hangs at 45-55 most of the time. I've seen it go above, I've missed the part where it dropped to minimum of 33, don't know where's that supposed to be.

Still fine, I think I'll enjoy it.
>>
>>54303632
In my experience it doesn't run as well as that chart claims. My guess would be that they only tested early areas, which don't highlight the problems on AMD CPUs. I'm running a 1090T at 3.9GHz, which is better than the 6300 tested there, and it ran perfectly at 1080p/60fps maxed out for the first few areas, but once you get into the Undead Settlement and the swamp beyond, the framerate really takes a hit at times. Down into the mid-40s a lot of the time.

It's irritating desu, because there's no reason for it. The game is nowhere near huge or good-looking enough to justify it. It just doesn't take advantage of multiple cores properly. Dragon Age: Inquisition for example, which is a much prettier game with much larger areas, runs perfectly on the same CPU.

>Athlon x4 750

I'm happy.
>>
>>54303632
Weak AMD CPUs are better paired with Nvidia cards because the heavy driver overload AMD cards has.
So even if a 380 is stronger than a 960 the weak CPU will drag down the 380.
