So what's the fastest, snappiest, linux browser that isn't text based and has adblock?

chromium / iridium or some version of poor ol' firefox?

Midori is quite nice but not certain if the placebo effect is in effect.

Any thoughts?

Enjoy your botnet.
>>
Is best synonymous with fastest? I don't know
>>
>>54225366

Let the botnet flow through you....
unless you have any other alternatives

>>54225396

Well if you enjoy watching everything render slowly when going to a new page, or the good ol white pages inbetween loads, then I guess best isn't synonymous with fastest
>>
>>54225436
If things render that slowly it probably has more to do with the site you are loading and the hardware specs of the computer.
>>
>>54225459

hmm, for some sites firefox takes a while to load, midori is pop snappy, and chromium is inbetween

Luakit.

Google Chrome.

Botnet memes are for child porn users. It's so great having nothing to hide.

Pure Chromium doesn't have built in spyware, actually.
>>54225334
The only real options are Chromium distros, Firefox (soon to be a Chromium distro), or Opera (which is ... Opera).
Just run Chromium, none of it's distros add anything of value.

SeaMonkey
>>

What the fuck are you talking about? Chrome comes with RPM's so it's a one click install for me. I bet you use Arch faggot.
>>
>>54226260
I specified "functioning adults" to specifically exclude Arch.
I use Debian, so installing Chromium is just apt-get install chromium, whereas for Chrome you need to either add the Botnet repo to your sources.list or go to Google's website and let it do it for you.
>>
>>54226180
Opera is chinese chromium
>>
>>54225891
Nothing. People install hundreds of shitty coded add-ons and then wonder why there are constant crashes and memory leaks.
>>
I like vivaldi a bunch. unfortunately it's not quite there yet stabilitywise tho.
>>
>>54226228
Functioning adults don't watch anime.
>>
>>54226482
I like Vivaldi, but until you can drag a tab out to make a new Window it's a no deal for me

I'd forgotten that regular Opera was still a thing.

There is literally no reason to be using Chrome over Chromium on Linux.

why do you need flash?
there's a reason why everyone's dropping support for it anon

Firefox and Chromium still support my 32 bit C2D laptop. Fuck Google !

element of your comment, Chromium on Debian will pull in the pepperflashplugin package and cause vrms to shit itself.

I can't watch camgirls on Myfreecams and Chaturbate without flash
>>
>>54226657
So? If you want it that badly you can install it on Firefox too. The same one used in Chrome.

Hijacking this thread, is there a Chrome equivalent to Watch with MPV or Open With?
>>
>>54226855
Firefox isn't as fast as Chrome though
>>
What's wrong with flash? Everyone has flash that I know of. It's always listed as a must have program and any decent video site like Youtube uses flash. Or am I wrong? If I uninstalled flash would I actually barely see any changes because Chrome uses some alternative anyways or something?

Even with trips, you're still a fuckwit.

Google also has a search engine. Use it.
>>
>>54227016
Forgot to say that this runs on QT5 with the QTWebkit engine.
>>
>>54227000
Youtube doesn't use Flash. Plenty of other embedded video shit does though, as well as plenty of nefarious shit. Also Chromium's pdf viewer.

The sensible thing to do with Flash is to set it to let you choose whether to run it on a given page or not.
>>
>>54226952
Of course not. Firefox is not a botnet so it does not have cloud computing.

Known for multiple security vulnerabilities and, although not as bad as JavaScript, it also leaks a lot of information about your device.

IceCat

It's one click you fag. They have a .deb on their website.
>>
>>54226684
Probably memes. Flash was the most powerful web platform.

Everything sucks.

>Firefox crashes all the time, because it's a bloated piece of shit.
>Chrome/Chromium looks like shit unless you're in incognito mode, which prevents you from having 4chan filters.

So do you like the slightly darker tab bar or the fedora?
