How do you like the HS7's? I've only heard good things
recommend me some desktop speaker stands for bookshelf speakers.
>>54186070
good enough for me
1 year of 24/7 constant on
~4W power consumption
no distortion even when I go loud as balls
small to fit narrow shelf next to my desk
build like a tank, feels like carved aluminum box
maybe its not DAC+Amp like DXAudio or Q5 Pro
and its not some class B that would eat 40W by just being on
but even if someone would right now ring the door and give me some 4000€ home cinema receiver from Marantz or NAD I would just sell it for half the price and keep this one till it plays...

Micca MB42X + leppai amp
should fit comfortably in to $120
>>54186427
Pretty much this. The first one is a good game all the way around. The second has a pretty good story, but the gameplay suffers.
The third.... well, the setting/story is pretty good right up until the gameplay starts, and then it just completely goes to shit. It is as half-assed as you can possibly imagine, and is a horrible, horrible example of storytelling in games, and actually made worse by so many who thinks its great.

I played first, but drop it after like 1-2 hours of gameplay
I picked up infinite after it won so many games of the year...
it was great IMO
but it hit me how great it was only after finishing it
replaying it..
ending was awesome
graphic, surrounding, atmosphere was awesome
Elizabeth was amazingly done, from voice to character..
and burial at the sea both episodes were quite good as well
But of course, when something gets praised much, there will always come edgy ones who rather find solace in disliking what others like, in their opinion too much...

no dust cap?
>>54186642
ah, th6 for me, i can listen to the ost forever
>>54186681
why did your drop the first?
How was the ending awesome? It goes against itself and leaves a lot of plot holes. Elizabeth does nothing and is forced and adds nothing to gameplay. The second one did the side companion well with lamb x delta relationship, and didnt force it to a point where it strays from the story. Burial at sea was alright, though shouldnt be dlc since its such an important part of the story.
It got praised so much because of payments to specific reviewers. Seriously they dont even deny it. Its a 5/10 at best.
>>54186681
Bioshock 1 and 2 where actually great games with a thought-provoking story. Bioshock: Infinite is regressive left propaganda.
>>54186747

>How was the ending awesome?
I somehow avoided all spoilers and so it hit me straight in to the WOW factor when the reveal happened...
also I did not have anything to compare it to, unlike fags constantly doing comparisons to previous games
>>54186754
oh yeah, nignogs murdering everyone white once they got their fight going was really liberal propaganda..
>>54186807
trying too hard
I liked the game, I am not claiming its second coming of christ
and faggots in audio thread should at least acknowledge the soundtrack is wicked good
>>54186879
well i didnt have it spoiled to me either but (spoilers for those who havent played) bookers death makes no sense as alternate relaities arent centralised and the time travel is paradoxical. Even without comparisons to bioshock 1 and 2 its pretty average, and with comparrison its clear the gameplay hasnt been changed in any meanigful way. Especially with the collecting vinyls thing, that was just so sad to see. The gameplay, especially the last fight where you use songbird is absolutely awful and doesnt flow at all.
reponding on behalf of >>54186754 the game is clearly watered down propogranda. The fact that its so restraintive as to not even say nigger is quite odd as its appropriate for the time period. Hes not specifically referring to that even with the black upruising timeline either.

Infinite felt a little more rushed in development - the storylines could have been better, and the whole QM thing felt like a cheap way to write yourself out of a hole (there was sometimes where it was a great part of the story, but there's a shit load of times where it just was - OH FUCK CAN'T GO ANYWHERE---ALTERNATEUNIVERSEYES)
>>54186754

>>54186967
>>54187076
gameplay, guns mechanic is average..
and there can always be easily find plot holes in topic such as infinite took up with..
but it still does not change the fact that its one of the best FPS single player games I played in recent years
>Hes not specifically referring to that even with the black upruising timeline either.
yes, because that part of the story does not fit liberal propaganda accusation
and seriously the idea was there are going to be slaves revolt so they depicted some such
you get option to throw apple or brick or what it was at the interracial couple being linched... so liberal propaganda put that option there?
or just generally depicting slaves is now propaganda...
liberal propaganda would be them showing suddenly how blacks ruled better in every way once they got some power. They showed the opposite..
I read stories about teachers expelling students for stating in their esseis(sourced) corruption in south africa and chanting "kill all whites", thats fucking liberal propaganda in action, not what infinite did
>Infinite felt a little more rushed in development
you did not play some other games lately...
I wish they would have the size and depth of infinte
yeah they are skipping universes little too much acting like nothing else could possibly change other than some weapons or some shit.. but what you gonna do.. nothing is perfect
Fuck off with this pleb garbage
>>54186879
>trying too hard
>makes fun of how the ending was retarded
>literally in the same post says how the ending was WOW
Ok buddy
>>54187176
compared to other games sure its slightly better, but that says more about the gaming industries current state then it does about bioshock infinite.
Gameplays not improved from the others at all, elizabeth still feels like an escort through out the game and adds no signifcant gameplay element other than free ammo.
>but it still does not change the fact that its one of the best FPS single player games I played in recent years
opinion backed up without fact
The baseball has no signicicance on the game at all, you see the couple later on at the train station thing but it, or any decision doesnt change the game.
The propoganda you're talking about, again its not by painting a revolt but rather the way it paints the opposition.
Infinite has no size, its all just one path to the end. Thats actually true for the other bioshock games though, although they have stuff you can do besides walk foward, infinite does not.
"what you gonna do"?
well for one write a more concrete story and learn how time travel and multiverses work
>>54187287
>Ok buddy
glad we cleared it out
>>54187291
>well for one write a more concrete story and learn how time travel and multiverses work

where one cant poke easily plot holes
>>54187340
bioshock 2 and 1. The ending is far more concrete. System shock 2, none have such gaping plot holes that everyone noticed independently of each other.
I think thats what youre asking, your post makes no sense
>>54187365
I did not play them as you know, so meh example
They have multiverses where they jump in to different realities?
I kinda doubt that

they dont, you didnt even ask for a multiverse story. You posted gibberish

"""
>well for one write a more concrete story and learn how time travel and multiverses work

"""
you said they should write story better in respect with multiverse and time travel
so I asked for an example of well written time travel or multiverse story, movie, book, game,.. something
>>54187482
sure then how about the rewritten dc multiverse, that only has a plothole in the origin of a specific character. Honestly any multiverse is better, its because infinite makes a elementary mistake, thats why its plot hole is so bad.
>>54187537
oh boy you cant be specific if your life would depend on it
smart decision I gues, if you know you retarded
if you say almost nothing, no one can point out that what you said is moronic gibberish, since theres nothing to grasp against you
theres no substance other than - I dislike something
but its discussion ender as well

I'm planning on moving out of my parents' house and into an apartment once I'm officially done with school, and it's weighed in on me that I probably won't be able to use my speakers much anymore, as I may annoy my neighbors. :(
>>54188483
Get some headphones then, it feels a lot different, but that is sadly the only solution. :(
>>54185828
do you like the treble on those? i found them to be a bit piercing with certain kinds of female vocals and guitar rock
what do you power them with
>>54188531
I power them with the NAD T754.
I personally like them a lot, and the treble is okay, it does pierce a little, but not too much for me to notice. Altough I am planning on upgrading my system eventually.

Listening to plastic Beach. through energy cb-10's, with a klipsh ref 10" sub. Power is a demon avr 38xx series receiver. And the CD player is a Yamaha 500. Honestly I can't wait to get dual sealed 12" subwoofers. I literally cannot stand how much the port effects the output at certain frequencys. As good as this subwoofer is, it drives me nuts senpai. And with a port plug say goodbye to any room gain under 30hz. I love the energys though. Best desktop speakers I've ever owned in muh life.

How's bass extention on the 305s? I don't want nigga-blasting bass but I do like some extension down there. Do they sound good with things like metal where the bass and the midbass can sound muffled in some speakers?
>>54193791
Sound amazing, great imaging with non harsh trebel but still detailed.
There is a some bass roll off under 40hz, so you would want a sub if you need sub bass.
>>54193791
>I don't want nigga-blasting bass but I do like some extension down there.
you will never get bass extension down to 20hz with 5" bookshelves, you absolutely need a sub if you want those frequencies to be audible.
>>54193355
Thanx, horn tweeters aren't for everyone but I love em.
I used to just use the fronts for stereo music, but found splitting the channels to the sides and rear sounds even better.

I don't care about sub-40Hz frequencies, but I'd like more or less flat responce down to 40-50Hz.
>>54194252
why would you want parts of music or movies to be inaudible?
>>54194252
well the 305s' -6dB point is at about 43 Hz, the rest is up to your room
>>54190329
>Kuba Sorrent 60
Well that's just beautiful.
Do you use the TV as well?
>>54194249
7.1 just added to the "enveloping" feel, but you can just as easily place the side channels farther back and boost the volume.
I don't watch a ton of native 7.1 content either, so the rears just duplicate the side channels most the time. Still, the DTS-MA/THX stuff is amazing.
Klipsch are great though, these are a very similar design and sound profile.
what's the best way to run both bookshelf speakers and a sub? I don't have an amp with a sub out

high level passthrough
>>54194252

>>54194354

So when the source is a pure 5.1, the back rears aren't ''matrixed'' (like Prologic) but only duplicate?
>>54194576
5.1 is 6 channels of content and nothing more
most receivers have some stuff built in to blow it up other than just duplicating, though - I'd rather turn the unused speakers off
