there's 2 versions on 18650 cells there's normal non-protected, and there's protected which have a small control board to handle charging, over voltage, under voltage and short circuit protection, non-protected cells require external circuitry to do all the monitoring, and that charger doesn't look like it has much circuitry, so there's a higher risk of the battery/cell exploding.

Just updating you guys on the Cubot Note S.
As you can see the battery is just amazing, 3 days of usage with 7 hours of screen time, totally possible.
Still my only complain is the not so good accelerometer, shit only measures Y and X axis, the Z axis is not measured that's why the screen rotation is a hit or miss, not that annoying but something to note.
Also noticed the SoC almost never goes into deepsleep it's 95% of the time working at 1000MHz, and the other 5% at 1300MHz and 600MHz.
There is a new ROM that I will flash in the next hour, let see if it solves the deepsleep or the screen rotation.
But if you're looking for a cheap decent phone this $80 phone might be your best option.

shitty Xiaomi bluetooth speaker anon here.
Firstly, I received money back and I kept the speaker.
Now, to try and repair the insane stutter during the bass I opened it up, trying to determine the cause.
Thought it might had been the battery, so I just superglued it to the plastic chassis. That didn't help much.
I don't know jack shit about electronics, can anyone tell me if I'm retarded for thinking that the wiring might be at fault?
In the morning, when I haven't used it much, it plays fine at around 70% volume. After playinga couple hours it becomes warm and starts to make awful noises, even during the bluetooth pairing signal. Is it possible that the wiring is at fault?
