I had that LG or at least something very similar sometime around 2003. Think I paid like 200 bucks for it. It had a color display. That was a really big selling feature. Compared to other phones at the time it was really pretty. Thought I was hot shit with it. Sometime around 10 years ago I had replaced it with some shitty sprint flip phone that was free. Mom wanted a cell phone and she had a good deal from the phone company. If I went on her plan it would cut my bill in half. I don't even know who made it. It's main selling point was you could replace a shitty little plastic bit to make it have a different colored trim. In 2008 I had upgraded to an Env2 which I held on to until my inside screen gave out this year.

I was using the sony P910i.
A friend of mine upgraded the internal RAM chip from 64 to 128MB for €100.
I had a 2GB memory stick in it untill I flashed a modded version of a Japanese ROM/FW which allowed for 4GB cards.
Loved the phone.
I had a bluetooth gps dongle for it, plus Tomtom maps (124mb for the whole of the Iberian peninsula)
There was an app I used which flipped the screen. Glued some semi reflective film on my windscreen, and put the phone on my dash so it would reflect off the film like a HUD.
I used to convert movies to watch on it, usually down to around 100-120mb.
The keyboard was great to use, and the touchscreen was very reaponsive.
The sound quality was quite decent too, even using the bundled headphones.
Overall, it was a 8.5/10 phone.

I think I was using a Nokia Xpress Music with S40, probably the 5300 already? I remember getting one of the first true mobile internet plans in my country (all of them prior were just to access the ISP portal and stuff like that) and with some Java apps like Gmail, Google Maps and Fringe I was already getting more "smartphone" use out of it than most people do on current 600€+ stuff.

Those were the glory days. I remember I jailbroke my ipod touch 4th Gen and it had ios, an android and a windows phone theme all Bootable. I also had something that cracked in game purchases so I could get all micro transactions for free. It was an easier time
