Version 364.72?
If so, nope, I'm running 364.47 because I've got no new games and I really can't be bothered to update because everything works fine as it is. Also sorry to say I've got just a 780, got it a month before the Ti came out so you can probably guess how pissed I was
>>
>>54042235
>if you're going for that, why are your cooler fans white?

placeholder cooler from my previous watercooled FX8350 build, used it whenever I needed to clean or upgrade the loop. I had it spare when I built this system and decided to save a buck and use it
might replace it or the fans at some point
>>
>>54042555
fair play anon, doesn't look too bad either way though, also nice trips
>>
>>54042538
I had weird crashes and blackscreens, even when on idle. Now on 361 everything is fine again.

780's are still fine, but they started to gimp them.
>>
>>54042600
>780's are still fine, but they started to gimp them.
I remember seeing that Nvidia was gimping Kepler when Maxwell came out, might roll back to 347 or something to see if it makes a difference. Also shit with those crashes and blackscreens, could the 780Ti's being gimped now
>>
>>54042632
Its definitely the drivers, I tried everything. First I thought my card would be broken or something.

These drivers don't do much, 3 FPS more in modern games (and I don't play them) but they want the newer cards on higher positions in the benchmarks.

I'll possibly upgrade to Nvidia again because AMD does the same with its 280X. Waiting for the first decent 4K card.
>>
>>54042430
actually its not. its the way gigabyte designed the xtreme's shroud on their 980 ti.
>>
>>54042098
Noctua C14? What fan though
>>
>>54042687
Fair enough, I'm probably going to wait until a decent 8GB card drops, otherwise I'd probably get a 4GB only for it to become useless a year later
>>
>>54042235
>6/10 what's with the fans on top of the rear I/O? also rogue cables
they're not on the rear I/O. they're on the vrm heatsink. its a 6+2 board with a overclocked 8350 (you really need a 8+2 with a overclocked 8350). they're needed to keep the house fire under control. i also have another fan underneath the motherboard directly behind the socket to help cool it off.
>>
>>54041778
You cable management looks like a woman.

The two GPU power cables look like legs, with the plastic wrapping looking like an ass. The flat surface of the GPU backplate is the curve in her back, the SATA cable the shoulders, and the motherboard cable mess her hair.

There's still a few things to sort out. A small part was missing from the case when I got it, the HDD is kind of vintage, and I guess I could invest in some sleeved PSU cables at some point, I might even go for the whole noctua liquid shit color scheme.

Still, it's the best rig I've ever owned.

>>54042687
This is like a day late but yes. BOTH Nvidia updates in March are known for fucking up your card and or Windows installation. I had windows 10 and my pc just restarted randomly and next thing I know it's updating even though I'm sure I had update off for a long time. Then, it just started boot looping over and over, my os was corrupted and u tried everything to fix it. Ended up just reinstalling windows and using a driver I had back in November.

Google it if you want, there were a few articles about it like 2 weeks ago.
>>

I was honestly thinking about it, but this processor doesn't get very hot. I've run Prime95 for about an hour and it never went over 62C. Also, the only game that I've actually had the CPU bottleneck the GPU, was Rise of the Tomb Raider, surprisingly, and it was only on one area in particular.

>>54054705
The i5 isn't a bottleneck for the GPU entirely but it that doesn't mean it is letting the GPU perform to it's fullest.

I only have the extra cables sitting there because I plan on upgrading GPU whenever pascal/Polaris drops a higher end card.

The GTX 960 currently installed only needs a single 6 pin PCI cable, the extra cabling there is a 2nd 6+2 pin connector I pre-routed for whenever I get the GPU upgrade.
Too lazy to hide it when I know I will be using it soon™ enough.
