Quick update on the Cubot Note S battery test.
Decided to do a Youtube test instead of just playing a video, since the video playback drains the battery slower than Youtube streaming due wifi usage.
4 hours of screen time - 55% battery left.
So, 8 hours of Youtube and maybe about 9 hours of video playback(if you turn off wifi) are totally possible with this $80 dollars phone.
What I have fund that I don't like? the screen auto-rotation is a hit or miss, but that's about it.
Will keep this up until the battery reach 5%, just to make sure the battery calibration is spot on.

Well... my gfx card can't run more than 2 monitors at the same time and I run 2 monitors for daily use but would like to be able to watch the occasional movie on my TV without having to crawl under my desk to change cable every time.

The TV is in range of a standard VGA cable (1.5-2m or so) from the computer so signall loss isnot really an issue. Did consider doing some 'fancy' HDMI thingie but seemed redundant considering the short distance and that all I wanna do is mirror one of the monitors.

Anyway I've since used this on a number of devices (Thinkpad E420, 2 samsung TVs, Gbox-Q^2, Asus t100ha, Sony TV) and has worked on all but the Sony, which is an old model.
It works flawlessly on everything but the Gbox, which regularly disconects on even when in close proximity, I guess it doesn't push enough power?
When it's connected (in the pic it's searching for the receiver and that orange light strobes till it connects) a blue light is constant and can be annoying (like the G-Box...)
In terms of usability, I still think this thing is amazing and everyone should have at least 2 in their home, I'm certainly going to order another.
Oh, also it seems the receiver is an LG branded BT one, haven't looked into it too much because I've been busy but I might report back if anything surprising or damaging happens to it.
I'll be ordering 2 different kinds of Android boxes (of GB) because I love the Gbox so far so I'll test it on them when they come.

I bought one of those most sold Pocketman XML-T6 and the box came smashed without any special bubble wrap around the flashlight. It is already scratched lens from factory and took some pounding, seems like they can't afford to pack it well. I don't know much about them, but is the LED any good? I've bought so much crap LEDs before, at least it lights up decently with 3xAAA. Probably not a Cree though, but what do I know. I've attached some pictures of it. If you know where to get legit copies of the fancy 18650 I want to get those too unless of course it won't make any difference on this LED.
