Mouse thread

What mice do you have?
What mice do you want?

I'm looking at buying a mouse for my Dell XPS 15, since the trackpad still unfortunately sucks.

I have a Razer gaming mouse for my desktop, and a magic mouse for my MacBook Pro, but want something cheap, yet elegant and nice for my XPS. Suggestions?

I was using a Logitech G400 ( the popular one). However i started developing wrist fatigue, as I have manlet hands and the G400 is huge.

So I ended up seeing this mouse on sale, decided to pick it up for temporary reasons, turned out to be quite good so I'm still using it for designing and gaming.

Red Dragon M601.

Has your usual gaming mouse bullshit like DPI Change, LED lights, thumb buttons.

The best part is it has adjustable weights.

Bad part is that the LED never turns off, unless you unplug the mouse.

Got it for 10$.

Used Razer Diamondback before, it was GOAT but lately had to click hard as fuck for it to register.

Very happy with Savu, it's pretty cheap and comfy.

Zowie FK1
has issues with the scroll wheel getting stuck, but asides from that it just werks and has the best sensor in any mouse I've used. May look into ricing it up some.

I have the SS Rival (OP's picture)

rubber thing on the side is coming apart

the rival 100 is infamous for having issues with that. I've heard they fixed it with the 300's release, but wouldn't know firsthand.

I got the newest models of the Corsair sabre RGB (with 10K DPI) and the Corsair M65 (with 12K DPI). They're the best mice I've ever owned! Pic is the Sabre.
>>

That's the mouse that I use at work. I had a Redragon lavawolf 701 that I was using at home, but I dropped a laptop on it and it crushed the left click.
>>
I have a g500, along with 2x MX Masters

gud shit
>>
Was a long term Logitech fanboy, I've only bought 1 MX518 years ago and when they break their top tier customer support send me another. When they stopped making MXs they sent me a G400 instead which was just as good.

Decided to try a roccat savu after that and hated it. The model I had broke after a few months and the back button would only work if I was holding down M1.

Then I bought a Razor Deathadder Chroma and I'm sold, best mouse I've ever used.

Actually I play CSGO a lot and I loved my infared Deathadder, it's a shame Razer stuff is meme-tier, the side buttons stopped working and the scroll wheel became unreliable.

I went to the CSGO major and saw the CSGO edition Steelseries Rival, it was functionally identical to the Deathadder and it was only 40 dollars so I bought it and it's really nice. I miss the weight of the Deathadder though, the infared sensor (supposed to be marginally better than laser and optical) was heavy as fuuuuck and I loved the feel of how heavy it was

Deathadder was amazing maaannn but Razer is shit :'(

The side buttons break quickly (less than a year) and the scroll wheel becomes unreliable after about 2 years

Steelseries Rival is functionally the same, I just got one as my replacement and it's really nice.
>>
Have SS Rival 300, it's pretty good, no defects after few months of use
Although I like it, it does cost a lot of money when compared to other mice I've used and it doesn't magically make me better at games or life, so I atleast hope it will last 2+ years without any bullshit, if not, expensive mice are a meme

Had a R.A.T. 3 and 2 R.A.T. 5s. The 3 is still working fine, both 5s started having problems after a few months.

Shape is surprisingly comfortable.

R.A.T. 5 and up are heavy fuckers, even with weights removed.

Sensor in R.A.T. 3 is good, but the laser sensor in the higher models suffers from the Z-axis bug (cursor jumps when lifting the mouse and putting it back down).

Coating on the matte models is kinda prone to wear, glossy models get dirty real quick.

I've been using a Thermaltake Black Element for around three years now, only issue so far was the mouse wheel randomly registering double clicks. I fixed it by bending the little plate on that switch a bit to give it tension again.

I bought this mouse because it was cheap and I am really happy with how good it is for what I paid.
>>
I've got a G400 I've been using for a few years. Still running great. Although I'm terrified that when it dies I'll never be able to replace it for a reasonable price. It's really the perfect mouse, perfect sensor, comfy as fuck, great button placement. I guess it may suck for clawfags but you guys need to join the palm grip master race anyway.

What's a good replacement for the EC1-A that isn't a Deathadder or another EC1-A? Can't seem to get them any more in the UK.
My one has started having tracking issues and sticking to the sides of the screen until after 5 minutes of the PC being on.
I can RMA it but I thought I'd buy a new one and then return this one and use it at work if they fix it.
Zowie partnered up with BenQ recently and will probably release new EC1-A versions with added BenQ logo. Hardware retailers in my country are getting them at the end of april it seems, so they will probably come to UK aswell soon

I have the Logitech "Discomforto" M100. This mouse is ergonomically designed to make you regret buying it, because it has a sharp corner and it's not comfortable.

I have been shopping for a new mouse lately and I'm appalled at how the market is so full of wireless shit. It don't even care about the performance aspect, I just don't get why I'd want a heavier mouse I have to recharge all the time just to remove one cable from the cable spaghetti. Fuck this.

My main complaints with it are the cord is heavy and stiff as fuck for how light the mouse is, and the plastic isn't the nicest feel.
