Just made a new PC Build.
Ordered Win10 even though I'm a huge Win7 fan and love it. Hated 8 and will never use it. Held on to 7 for as long as possible but PC recently died. So along with all the parts obviously the OS is one thing to be ordered.
SHOULD I OR SHOULD I NOT ORDER WIN 10?
Why? Why not?
I know many privacy settings can be turned off. It also has many security patches that can help that 7 can't get.

Windows 10 is fine. it's actually faster than 7.
It has some nice QoL improvements, and it will have constant updates, not only security patches, but UI improvements.
Disabling telemetry is pretty easy and it won't take you more than 5 minutes.

I bought a new Skylake notebook earlier this week and i hated Windows 10. It all looks so 'comfie', and normie asking accounts for everything that i switched back to W7 after suffering in UEFI and eventualy doing it at Legacy. Now i feel good.

Yeah no. Returned to linux distributions 5 years after the last time i used them, and some of them (mainly Ubuntu) are even worse than before. Linux distros are almost unusable unless the only thing you do is writing and browsing website without flash player

Why would you order Windows 10 when you can order Windows 7, install it, take advantage of the free upgrade to Windows 10, delete that immediately because it sucks ass, then install Windows 7 again knowing that if you absolutely must use Windows 10 at some point you can by reinstalling it since you got it for free after purchasing the superior OS, Windows 7.
