Whenever I try to make a gif, regardless of what I set it as- It will always come out as 10-15 fps (even if i set it as 5 or 30 fps.)
I've tried multiple programs and it happens with each one.
Would there be some sort of problem with chrome (despite being able to view other gifs at their native frame-rate fine) or would it be my computer at fault?
If I send an email to my ISP about refusing the snooper's charter, will they suddenly start monitoring me to see why I don't like the idea of snooping?
How can i connect an HDD from my old laptop to my new laptop?
My old laptop cannot be charged anymore, but it's not worth repairing that old thing. I have some data left on its HDD. How can i save this Data? I guess i would have to remove the HDD from the device and externally connect it to my new Laptop. I could propably do the removing part on my own, but what about the rest?

Draw the frames, I've tried in in Flash, PainTool Sai Animation Assistant, and GraphicsGale so far.
I usually try to export them at 30fps in the basic settings and it always says that it's working, but it never exports right.

What are the latest stable drivers for Nvidia GTX660?
When I had GTX460 I had to stick to 314.22 due to newer drivers causing BSOD.
Now I run with situation I have to try using newer drivers, but I dont know, which version is safe. Is latest 364.72 safe? Or 362.00?
One person in previous thread gone with "get new card" but that answer is silly. How would that suppose to fix the problem.

But I opened your gif in GIMP and the time every frame is shown at was reported to be 0ms.
When a gif is displayed at 0ms speed, the browser will slow it down to a certain default value, because it can't play that fast.
I changed the time per frame to 30ms in this picture, it should play faster

I only overclocked it yesterday, I'm trying to hold out until later this year when the next wave of processors come out since my only options at the moment are somewhat pricey Intel setups and I'd rather get something hefty to carry me another 3-6 years if I'm going to do that kind of spending.
Only time it reached 100% at stock clock was in GTA5 under specific circumstances, but even then there's no noticeable loss in performance.

Most search engines don't care about punctuation. You could do "search.with.dots" or "search with dots" it's the same thing.

I bought a new PC case yesterday, put all the parts from my old case into the new case, and everything worked fine, boots up fully. Everything except the USB ports, which aren't working. I've checked the drivers, everything is fine. I know theres probably a multitude of reasons why this could happen, but does anyone have some solutions?
It's probably worth nothing that, while the mouse and keyboard don't work, the mouse laser does light up. And also, I have a PCI-E USB 3.0 card, I plugged the front case USB 3.0 ports into it, and those didn't work either. Because of this I'm thinking it might be software based? I'm not entirely sure, but any help would be appreciated.

For anyone intersted in this,
I have narrowed the problem down to ClearType fucking with the narrow Helvetice Neue font.
I tried changing the cleartype options. That caused the Helvetica Neue font to look good, but everything else looked ugly.
My solution to this was to delete the narrow Helvetica neue font from my system. Now all those instances default back to Arial or something and are perfectly readable.

CPU/RAM performance has not gone up much since. CPUs have gotten smaller and consume less power but that's about it.
GPU wise things have changed more. Cheap GPU's have the comparable performance as expensive ones from 7 years ago.

I haven't had any experience with AMD cpus/motherboards, are they usually pricier than mainstream intel motherboards? I ask because I take it that the volume is pretty low relatively and that may drive up the costs. Skylake was so disappointingly underwhelming desu.

Yeah I read this too. I think it's because Moore's Law isn't sustainable and Intel can only have incremental upgrades to CPU's anymore (seeing as how they ditched the Tick-Tock pacing). So they're banking on software being a big enough incentive for people to upgrade.

I think my router's DHCP is fucked, everytime I try to connect to it with any device it keeps getting stuck at "obtaining IP address". This, of course gets fixed if I turn my router off and on again. The problem is that it fucking happens constantly, not even once in a while, just all the fucking time. Antergos with Gnome
Installed Infinality-bundle and multilil then rebooted. Now stuck in login loop. I enter password then black screen. Then login screen again.
I used the other tty to reinstall freetype2 cairo fontconfig and the lib32 versions of the three packages. It didn't help. I used the command line to do a -Syu for some reason thinking it would help. It didn't.
How do I fix the login loop problem? Please help.

Why do people say they are "building a computer" when they are really just buying a bunch of premade components that snap together in easy, idiot-proof ways, and assembling them in 5-10 minutes with no skill required?
It's like saying you're cooking a meal when really you are just microwaving a bunch of frozen shit and dumping it together onto a plate. Yeah technically I guess you "cooked" something but it is misleading to imply you really did any meaningful cooking to this food.

My computer won't POST. When I push the power button the fans jerk for a split second but don't start to spin. I've removed all other parts but the RAM and the CPU and its fans.
LEDs on the motherboard work which leads me to believe it's not completely dead. I checked and they work on PSU and not CMOS battery power so the PSU can't be completely dead either.
What do? My friend thinks the mobo is shorting. I have no idea anymore.
