What, seriously? Besides the fact that I don't feel that OSX has the best selection of native 3D programs, the 2013 MP is both under-powered and overpriced for what it offers. Just the fact that you're not getting CUDA rendering is a huge red mark in my book.
You can build a simply monsterous workstation for the same price as a base-config MP, they waste money on 26xx series Xeons and Firepros, and then don't take advantage of their features anyway.
Seriously just get an iMac if you really want to stay with Apple, you'll actually get better hardware than what's in the trashcan. It wasn't that impressive even when it launched either.
