I've been thinking of doing the Windows 10 upgrade recently since time is running out.
How fucked would all my software be if I went through with it. I don't give a shit about the telemetry shit since I gotta use Windows either way.

Because it's from fucking 2009. It's just a compatibility thing. It doesn't mean you use the GFWL service.

Actually. On second thought. I probably shouldn't update. I've got all my document folders moved to new drives because I tried to move everything off of the SSD I installed 7 to. By that I mean when I got to "C://Users//Myself" there is nothing there. It's all been linked to folders on a mechanical drive.
I have a feeling this will royally fuck me over in the end.

Stay with 7. When its support ends switch to either a Linux distro or W10 LTSB
