Right now I have a gtx 770 and I can't make out many games these days. What's a card around 250-300 I can upgrade too?

Also will having a stock i5 2500k bottleneck my potential upgrade?

I have a i5 4460 and its fine for most games.

GTX 970 can be have for 300.
