AFAIK it's Arch but with non-free programs removed from the repositories.
I'd say it's the best of Arch-based distros in that it actually has a reason for existing.

Currently using Parabola. It's Arch based and Arch is a poor choice for a source distro in my opinion. I have grown to like Gentoo and its defaults so much that I wouldn't want to waste the time to make Parabola more like it. Currently on Parabola and might continue to use it for a while on one of my laptops.Installed it mostly because I was following documentation pertaining to my case and did not want to adjust all the steps to another OS
