Do you connect everything to the front convenience ports? I haven't seen my HDMI cables in 7 years as they've been behind the TV and untouched.

I got 2 digitech 7.5m HDMI cables with a braided sleeve on them. They were $10 each and they're way better for plugging into laptops than any other HDMI Cable I've come across. They don't get caught on anything and they're a lot stiffer, so they don't kink.
