Is Kaspersky currently the best computer security software?

Looking at independent test it seems to have some of the highest detection rates along with some of the lowest false positive rates
>>
Common Sense is the best AntiVirus software
>>
>>53901767

yeah but if i download cracks i need to know if it's safe and not get shitty AVG style false positives
>>
>>53901752
No, your brain is.
>>
>>53901812
Then just use MBAM for scanning.

who do you work for? Microsoft, AVG or EA?
>>
Wtf, never expose your stable system to "cracks". Use a god damn vm, you barbarian.
>>
>>53901832

MBAM is nice as a on-demand scanner but I want it alongside a security package with firewall and real time protection

I prefer, and advocate Eset.

if you download cracks it should be on a computer where you have no personal info on and don't care about reformatting.

Just use common sense alongside something like Webroot, so you don't have to worry about performance hits
>>
>>53902710
yes goys, listen to this man. run my cracks on your main pc with all your info and documents. anyone suggesting keeping the two separate is a SHILL

Comodo is, like, way better dude.

not only one gets encrypted, but has to learn russian to boot.
>>
>>53902851
Ever heard of self-executing malware?
>>
>>53901812
You don't need cracks to run kasperky, 90day OEM keys and Kaspersky Trial Reset.
>>
>25 relies

Jesus, neo /g/ is shit. OP look into NOD 32 they're good too
>>
>>53901752
I use MSE and MbAM
MSE for live protection and I think MbAM scans better
>>
>>53901879
what are you downloading cracks from EA for?
>>
>>53901896
SpyBot and COMODO firewall.
>>
>>53901812
Just use VirusTotal

What the fuck anon

NOD32 scores like shit in every test out there, the only good thing aout it it's that it's lightweight
Do you come from 2008 or something?
>>
>thinking that scanning .exe actually does something
Lmao, you can just inject malware code into the file to make the antivirus think that it's a system process/file and it's safe. One guy tested that, at first he got 90% virus detection rate on virustotal, after putting the code it dropped to 0%
