Many of them speak English (legacy of the British Empire), and they're willing to do menial tasks (Java monkey, helpdesk, etc) for a lot less than an American would demand to do that work, because what to the American is a poverty wage is, in India, decently middle class and a big step up from dirt farming. There's also a big contingent that are willing to work a night-shift schedule in India to do this stuff remotely.
>>
>>53888832
Why do I have this underlying hate for pajeets? It's only developed this past year.
>>
>>53888832
IT and programming have the best ratio between potential earnings and opportunities to barrier to entry and difficulty. Literally all you need is a decent computer with an internet connection and some free time, and you can easily get a job that pays the bills and then some.
>>
>>53888978
because /g/ is full of code monkeys and other banal undergrads with easily replaceable skillsets that are threatened by indians and other migrants who will do the same shitty job for far less money

>>
>>53889053
you can save yourself, but nobody else can. Either improve your skills so that you're demonstrably better than Pajeet and can do things he can't, or accept his level of wages.
>>
Indians are hard workers and don't complain like americans. Why would anyone want to hire a stupid lazy american when they can hire a smart and succesful Indian man. Indian mans are the future so just get used to it. and plus they arent rude like every american i ever meet.
>>
>>53889301
Most of the Indians I meet lack social tact. Like if autism were made socially acceptable, I imagine Western culture would resemble Indian culture more.

It's incredibly obnoxious and it really makes me appreciate white people who lay at least a thin layer of politeness on top of their interactions with people.

Not to mention they all have high pitched voices from being cucked by their women for so long.

During the '50s and '60s in India there were PhDs pushing broom around the streets.
Universities were pumping out highly educated upper-class (IE rich) dudes who had no chance of getting a paying job in their specialty. They left for Britain in droves.
Now, with the tech sector kicking ass in their home country, they have jobs at home.
Same thing happened in Taiwan. Then Korea.

More like:

People with a job and who have actually already worked with pajeets, know how fucking useless they are. Becuase Pjeets just straight out refuse to acquire any knowledge by themselves. So Anons boss forces him to be nice to pajeet and help him, which means anon has to waste 1-2 hours every day of his 8h work day to help Pajeet understand the most menial task, even though everything is written down in documentations. But Anon still has has to complete his regular work, so his 8h day becomes either 8h on adrenaline, or a 9-10h work day.

Thanks, you fucking useless piece of shit Pajeet. I hope you take my job so I finally have an excuse to move away.

theres also an outstanding influx of foriegners in the medical field as well.

I think this has to do with that there are no prerequisites to get into medical school and can start straight out of highschool in those countries, therefore they push out more doctors or students of medicine who then come to the united states to finish out.

Back in the 1960s, you didnt need a bachelors degree to get into medical school in the united states. Im betting all my money that the reason they raised the bar to requiring an absurd amount of prereqs was because minorities gained rights. Its all an expensive filter.

Frankly i think the united states should just get rid of pre reqs since the student is paying for education after all. This will both create jobs and educate the mass that go in just for the possibility of a better paycheck being a doctor.

>Im betting all my money that the reason they raised the bar to requiring an absurd amount of prereqs was because minorities gained rights.
Even bigger reason: Colleges and universities wanted to force people to buy a product, or more of a product, that only they sell - degrees - and that they have a lot of pricing power with.
>>
>>53892840
The leader of the project should be able to select who is helping him with that project.
If someone is being shoved around between projects, HR should fire that person.

I've been in the Seattle area for a while now and this is so fucking true it breaks my heart. The tech companies here abuse the H1B to bring boatloads of Pajeets here and the bottom line really is that they do more work for less. I unfortunately interact with them almost daily and I can tell you they are the most rude, entitled and autistic group of people ever. Like holy shit I think the only reason their population is so high is because rape is ingrained in their culture. They don't seem any more capable than any of their peers they just seem to have the absence of dignity to accept lower wages.

>Colleges and universities wanted to force people to buy a product,

this is absolutley true and i wish i learned this back when i was 18 and fresh out of high school.
All the time they pushed college and university that the board of education was literal shills. Same with the military, except the military used aggression and honed in on rednecks because they were the easiest lol.
Instead of offering real skill based classes or interships, we were tested all the goddamn time to prepare for higher education.

I guarantee if the slogan for the reason to go to college or a university was to become wordy rather than guaranteed a job, nobody would bother.
I also think that the advancement of the internet really fucked some shit up for business. You can pirate education that others would pay several grand at a prestigious institution.

The only thing i can exclude that you really need a university for is networking and practical experience like medicine and use of special equipment for research.

I seriously want to go back to my school and slap each teacher that used the term "ditch digger" as a consequence of not moving forward.
>>

Mind you, passing the MCAT in the united states doesnt mean that you can get accepted.

>but are those entrance tests combined with four years of some serious over the top prerequisites and experience of working in the industry?
nope
>passing the MCAT in the united states doesn't mean that you can get accepted.
same here just passing the test doesn't guarantee admission, there's a cutoff percentile every year based on which the limited number of seats in the collages are allocated based on merit and affirmative action reservation that is mind you ~55%.

You can't sue someone for saying racist things in America. The First Amendment protects racist speech.
>>
>>53893404
yes but for harassment you can, its just a sideshow to get the jury on your side for the hate speech to matter.

Political Correctness has roots deeper than we can comprehend.
>>
>>53893404
In January 2015, Carolina Metal Finishing, LLC, a Bishopville, S.C. based metal finishing company, paid $40,000 and furnished significant remedial relief to settle a race harassment lawsuit filed by the EEOC. According to the EEOC's complaint, a Black powder coater at the Bishopville plant was repeatedly subjected to racial slurs by two White employees. The comments included repeated use of the "N-word." The Black employee allegedly complained to company management, but the harassment continued. Within hours of his final complaint, the coater was fired, allegedly in retaliation for his complaints of racial harassment. In addition to paying $40,000 in monetary relief, the company must abide by the terms of a two-year consent decree resolving the case. The consent decree enjoins Carolina Metal from engaging in future racial discrimination. The decree also requires the company to conduct anti-discrimination training at its Bishopville facility; post a notice about the settlement at that facility; implement a formal anti-discriminatory policy prohibiting racial discrimination; and report certain complaints of conduct that could constitute discrimination under Title VII to the EEOC for monitoring. EEOC v. Carolina Metal Finishing, LLC, No. 3:14-cv-03815 (D.S.C. Jan. 8, 2015).

>They already speak English
>There's some IT/CS culture there, from what I understand and it gives them alternative options to have an actual job
Indians are to tech what Brazilians are to football. For them, it's just a way out.
>>
>>53892912
Same is true of most jobs. Since most people in the UK with an IQ > 100 go to uni, having a degree is used as an idiot filter, the degree isn't actually relevant to the job in most cases.
>>
>>53893404
you don't have freedom of speech at your job dumbass
>>
>>53893521
Harassment itself is not a cause of action in most states. Many so-called suits for harassment are actually suits on other theories, all which require conduct more than just mere speech. The only exceptions could be if the causes of action were for intentional/negligent infliction of emotional distress, but the modern trend narrows the availability of them for conduct involving only speech.

>>53893564
That was not just hate speech. There, the coater was fired in retaliation of his complaints. Without that, the suit would have lacked merit. It's only when the conduct goes beyond speech where liability accrues.

>>53893635
But government action cannot suppress speech, i.e. creating a cause of action based solely on a type of speech (e.g. hate speech). The "no freedom of speech at your job" means that private parties (i.e. your employer) don't need to allow you to say whatever you want. That does not mean that they can sue you for speaking (unless it violates contractual term you have with them).
>>
>>53893685
>There, the coater was fired in retaliation of his complaints.
this wasn't established thus the word "allegedly".

also what stops an individual from resigning and then claiming that they were driven out by the constant harassment?
which is very much grounds to sue.
my original point was that if the HR and management won't handle it the law will and not to mention the defamation goes against PC brings thus the huge number of out of court settlements.
>>
>>53893748
Of course it's not established because the company settled the suit before the case went to trial, i.e. before anything could be proven.

>also what stops an individual from resigning and then claiming that they were driven out by the constant harassment?
Nothing stops someone from suing for anything. Whether there's actual merit in the suit depends on what is meant by "constant harassment". Having a co-worker calling you a poo in the loo isn't enough.

>defamation
Racial slurs do not meet the elements of a defamation suit because they by themselves do not constitute defamatory speech.

well most of the Indian government is a kafkaesque clusterfuck of unabashed nepotism. There is maybe 1 legit employee that passed civil service exam in the whole system. At least it serves some purpose to have it as an affirmitive action program instead of just pure clusterfuck.
Private industry is generally less tolerant because it's expected to compete to turn a profit.

you've no perspective of how poor people think.
lookup why this problem of overpopulation started in India.
It was the brits mismanaging and forcing Indian farmers to grow non edible cash crops such as indigo which caused famines.

Its a worldwide constant wherever famine happens that people take more children to be retirement assets in agrarian economies.

It can be applied in other parts of the world, sadly very few people seem to know about it
>>
>>53893140
So passing the cutoff does guarantee admission. In America even if you get the #1 score on the MCAT nationwide, that still doesn't guarantee admission. There's a hundred other things they look at so they don't accidentally make neckbeard autists doctors.

>Indians are hard workers
holy shit lmaooooo
guess that's why their country is an industrious world power and has been for well over a century

120 years ago an american factory owner visited indian factories and was dismayed to find shit everywhere, wastage, and indolent workers sleeping and absent foremen doing nothing around the back

traveling to japan they found a well oiled efficient machine of dedicated workers

this is despite the fact the indians had access to the same machinery for far longer than the jap workers
they just didn't nothing with it

indians are some of the shittiest workers everywhere

easy litmus test:
is your country currently shit?
then the people aren't hard workers
they're shit workers
working shit
