Any alum from either of these schools around here with some insight as to how good the CS courses are at these places? Were the internship opportunities any good, too?

Not that I'm considering it (acceptance rates on out-of-state CS students are hilariously low), but UT Austin is a pretty godlike CS school. Probably one of the best you'll get without heading somewhere like Stanford or MIT.

Didn't attend either, but speaking as a local to virtually both, you're better off with UTD. Chock-full of indians and asians looking for the best education they can get without having to pay for it.
OU on the other hand is set up to be much more competitive with UT, except they sort of just suck at that, in a lot of depts.
