Youtube-dl. No idea if mac or windows has it but youtube-dl is in repos for ububtu and fedora offhand and probably other distros. All you have to do is feed it a YouTube URL and it will pull max res video down. Probably some tweaks or something you could do with that if you were feeling gay enough to read some stuff

bro it's literally 99% python. if you have homebrew in os x it's just
brew install youtube-dl
