Well /g/ents, I've been using Arch for awhile, and I'm bored. Gonna try out Gentoo on my desktop machine after I get home from work today. What is your experience with installing Gentoo? How is day-to-day use as compared to Arch?
inb4 fell for the meme, I don't give a shit, I like trying new things.
Oh, and is there really any appreciable difference between Gentoo and Funtoo?

Pic related.
Funtoo is opinionated Gentoo with less support. If you thought pacman was hot shit, wait till you learn portage.

That's kind of what I was gathering. I also figured there had to be a reason that I never see it mentioned on /g/.
Hope you have a comfy chair, you'll be there for hours

Its a bit on initial setup and configuration, but once you have a rolling system its great. A newbie tip is you either go full stable or ~unstable branch as mixing stable branch with a couple unmasked unstable packages can get you into some nasty headaches.
