Oh vey!

the encryption used in gsm has been trivial to crack for years.

and boost mobile is somehow worse than tmobile, which is hard to do.

holy shit that's less than a third what I paid for it half a year ago. It's a really solid phone, would definitely recommend especially at that price.

Boost is pretty terrible in many locations.

I got a Rogers unlimited lte plan for 56.50. Am a Canuck.
>>
>>53852183
Check their coverage map, I'm in a major US city so coverage is solid locally.
>>
>>53852248
So is t-mobile. Speeds always depend on network coverage and network stress. Though lately sprint and t-mobile seem to have about the same average network coverage/speed.

I'm in a major US city and the coverage map says it's great but it's incredibly unreliable.

I've always been disappointed with both. Third party providers that use AT&T's network are where it's at.

dubs and trips checked. How's the multi-tasking on it? I'm stuck with an iPhone 4s and switching to android only seems worth it if I can get my hands on an android phone with 2GB of RAM.

LTE is a form of GSM

I'm sorry, I like having a cellular signal.

But the phone is still considered "CDMA" because it's locked to that network specifically. Yes it uses a SIM to communicate with LTE networks but the phone itself is SIM locked.

I have the warp elite on boost's $60 plan. The phone is solid as hell if you don't mind the size. No navigation buttons cluttering the screen, better colors on screen than the Moto g I came from (very noticeable yellow tint upon comparison), plenty of storage with sd support, 2gb RAM, big battery, decent performance, all-around good phone for the original price, phenomenal value for ~$100, and Sprint's network is pretty good where I live
>>
>>53852563
Your not getting unlimited data for $60 a month.

You can get unlimited voice and messages for as little as $17 a month in Australia. It's the data that counts.

Nah man, most major phone operators are still installing GSM in rural regions. Even in NA. I am certain that GSM will actually outlive WCDMA/UMTS. CDMA is almost kill though.

Significantly better than any phone with 1gb ram, I've never had over 1gb before this and I can actually keep multiple apps going at once without reloading and I've had games downloading extra data in the background while using other apps to pass the time without concern. It's obviously not an insane amount of memory but it is a very noticeable improvement over 1gb
>>
>>53852740
Compared to some phones like the Moto g 2015 where you can see lines on the screen at 5" 720p, it looks significantly better and I don't notice any issues with the resolution
>>

Thanks a bunch, about to order one right now. I've almost maxed out my credit card but I really don't believe this phone could get cheaper.

Does not work this way.

Would not buy a ZTE phone. Especially a phablet with shit resolution, no matter how cheap.

I was shocked myself honestly, it's such an incredible deal and it's got tons of great reviews to top it off

I'm on T-Mobile. I didn't say anything, because I didn't want to be pegged as one of John Legere's little twitter-minions.
>better lte speed
T-Mobile has the best data speeds of any carrier. It's been proven through 3rd party testing.
>>
>>53853555
Nice trips. Now, do they offer unlimited lte speeds at $55 a month and $89 android phones with a 720p screen and 2GB of RAM?
>>
>>53852020
Sprint has unlimited data for only 35.
>>

Their unl plans for a single customer are more in the neighborhood if $90, but they have a pretty good deal (150/month) right now on unl for a group of 4.

The old $2 optus SIM I'm guessing? I forgot to recharge mine one time and it got turned into the shitty 4g version.

And to be fair, burgerland had some grandfathered ridiculously cheap unlimited plan as well.

I had a pretty good deal with telstra.
I paid 30$ for a recharge, and they gave me 200 SMS, like 30m talk, 500MB data *and* the whole 30$ I could spend on Google Play.
They didn't kick me off because I forgot to recharge or anything, I just realised that I'd bought half of the Google Play store, and really ran out of things to buy on it.
>>
Boost is garbage in terms of customer service, coverage consistency, and payment convenience, but they're always having promotions, I was planning on switching my carrier last month and I didn't pay my bill and they gave me a month of service for free, and offered an additional two months of free service if I paid my bill next month. (I'm paying $45 for originally 5GB and I think it's grown to 8? I'm not all too sure since I'm typically connected to a WiFi network)
>>
>>53852218
It's ``unlimited", but you can't use more than 5 GB in a month even if you're seeding 24/7 because Sprint's network is so unbearably slow.
>>
>ZTE
Yea, no. You couldn't pay me to buy one of their crapshoot phones. They're notorious for failing pieces of junk.
