Mechanical keyboards are expensive because they use discrete switches for every key, which cost a whole lot more to produce than just two sheets of membrane and a bunch of rubber domes. On top of that, mechanical keyboards are a very niche market compared to the general keyboard market, since most people have the bliss of not giving a shit on what they're typing, hence things get more expensive.

That's funny. I once got a steelseries apex raw, which was quite fine but I wasn't totally happy with due to how easily it collects fingerprints and the retarded key spacing. Though the spacebar was nice.
The funny part is that it stopped working for no reason whatsoever within less than 36 hours of it being delivered to my doorstep. Did not work on my computer, did not work on any other computer.
I got a refund and bought my first mechanical.
That was less then a year ago.

If the site can stay afloat and expand their selection it's probably Europe's best hope for group buys. The keycaps usually support both ISO + ANSI and the owner wants to pressure manufacturers into adding German, French and Nordic legend support in the future.

Where can i get that clock
After 3 months of waiting (manufacturer fucked up) my dark gray NPKC blanks arrived from Massdrop. I've decided to pair them with my black enjoypbt blanks to create my own Dolch colorway (in motherfucking ISO).
They're both thick sets with enjoypbt being maybe just slightly thicker. It's all PBT plastic and both have the same low Cherry profile so they fit together well.
I've also got a matching blank enjoypbt RGB modifiers kit ordered that will probably look nice with it too. If nothing else I really want the included red PBT escape key.
I'll swap the space bar to the dark gray later because it's a pain in the ass to do.

Personally, the alternating colours for the function row looks like butt. I'd recommend switching it to all black at the same time as you change the space bar.

No? That set on MechSupply is by the German company GMK and is made of ABS rather than PBT.
Their ABS is the best and thickest in the world though, and those double shot legends would be almost impossible to create with PBT.
The image you're quoting has caps by various chink companies circling Gateron. But they're still good quality because of nice thick PBT and they won't wear and get shiny.
