There really is nothing better other than the aluminum body and better graphics. The most affordable ultrabook with a non joke resolution starts at 850€ here. Macbook or rMBP would be only 450 bucks more for more SSD space/or power, much better trackpad, battery life and not look like you stole it from a hobbo.
Am I the only one who doesn't really like how this chick is the face of the whole "real you" trend? I'm all for encouraging women that they shouldn't strive to look like unrealistic photoshopped women plastered everywhere in the media, but this chick just doesn't do that. I honestly can't see how this woman is, in any way, "natural". The human body does not look like that. I don't *need* a high resolution screen to write code - I could write code on my 1280x800 12" Dell Vostro if I had to - but a high resolution display certainly makes coding more pleasant. With a higher resolution I can more easily drop the font size, allowing for more code on screen, fit editors for two source files at once, keep documentation open alongside an editor, etc etc. All these things reduce the amount of alt-tabbing and scrolling and have a tangible effect on productivity.
