Oh lawd, I loved that blue background of Win95 installer. It makes me warm and fuzzy every time I see a retro thread with it. Too bad Win95 was a piece of shit that BSODed every day

I had that keyboard a few years ago, it was pretty sick.
I got an old IBM Aptiva sitting beside me but I'm going to mod the case so I can put my rig inside of it. I could mod a new case and put the aptiva inside of it and get some parts to get it running.

Running a 100' Ethernet cable across the dorm to net-install Debian, because there is only one hard line junction box in the building.
Stupid place is covered in over price wireless nodes that won't connect, so I can't download the wireless drivers to install the OS. For being the college of technology, some really failed to think this new building through.
But first I need to think of a user pseudonym. Not using my real name anywhere on it as this old machine will house my notes and books dealing with some dark shit. I use to be suicidal depressed and have gotten to a point where I what to write about how I felt back then, as others have said my stories helped them. But now that am a partly successful adult, I don't want the stupid stuff from my past messing things up.

Good luck, will probably need extensive modding as they don't use a standerd motherboard, instead the use a custom riser for expansions. Just dug mine out yesterday, I got it mostly working. Cache module causes machine to hang on POST, and Sound Blaster AWE32 is completely fucked.
Managed to get Unreal 1 playable with the 133MHz Pentium and a Voodoo 1. Had to gimp all settings, though.

Sort of reminded me I have that as my background on my phone. I set it years ago and completely forgot. Works really well.
