I want to here your opinion on the mobile speaker.
First of all, I see nothing wrong with the technology itself. It works fine and it does address certain needs that couldn't be addressed by standard speakers.
The problem I have with it is that it now gives idiot kids the power of mass noise pollution. I can't go anywhere in my neighbourhood now without hearing:

It makes me want to strangle the motherfuckers. You are entitled to your own tastes in music, but don't expect everybody to have the same opinion on your "good" music.

This literally happened like 35 years ago with boom boxes. It became a meme for a while and then pretty much went away.
I bought myself one of these for the kitchen while I do the washing up, sounds pretty damn good for how small it is.
