Looking for introductory books on these subjects. Can /g/ provide me with any help?

You can just type it in on YouTube or google, Miss Wallace.

It's missing a resistor.

I got my book from radioshack when radio shack was good. Even had a chapter dedicated to reading schematics.

The battery has some capacity. The capacity is tested by measuring the voltage on the battery. Voltage is difference in potential to do work. Unit is volt.

Open circuit have no current flowing.

Current is the directional flow of electrons through a conductor. Current is I = U/R.

Current always flows from higher potential to lower. In this case from 1.5V of the + on the battery to 0V on the - on the battery.

I = Current
U = Voltage
R = Resistance

This is Ohms Law.

Resistance is the feature of the material to resist the flow of electrons through itself.

A resistor is a conductor with a specific resistance. Resistance is measured in Ohms.

Read up:

- Ohms Law
- Kirchoff's Laws

Components:

- Resistor
- Inductor
- Capacitor

Read also:

- Alternatig Current
- Direct Current

AC Stuff:

- Impeadance
- Reactanse
- Appearant power
- Power Factor

Read up all of that to get started.

google pdf for Basic Engineering Circuit Analysis 10e

It is a shitty book, but since you want it for the basics it will work okay
>>
Also, look up YouTube channels:

EEVBlog, Afrotechmods, GreatScott, ElectroBOOM etc.

Search for "Electronics basics" and "ohms law"

I had on one semester of cs this stuff, 7h/week, foooking hell

Do you speak german?
German EE books are pretty fucking great and cheap.
