Because that was the point of the movie, machines are analytical, all she wanted is to escape, so she exploited his weaknesses in order to do it. Also, I think the movie wanted to show us that human greatness doesn't come from the brain, in which field machines are surpassing us very quickly, it comes from the heart, machines will never have virtue, it's a very common topic in these kind of movies.
