I don't know why Microsoft has such a boner for cloud services when internet access in the US is so shitty. I live a block away from one of Level 3's major backbones but because the city only lets Comcast provide residential service, I'm stuck with a low quality connection that randomly goes out for no reason they can explain. Why would I let my entire computer usage go to shit each time some Comcast monkey shits on a router? If cloud is to be successful, the tech companies are going to have to get rid of the geographic monopolies ISPs have. Google Fiber is a good start but is rolling out at a crawl.

If Microsoft is serious about this, they need to stop with the "Updating Windows, fuck you!" nonsense when I turn on a device to do something quickly.
