Are all wires created equal?
My gf managed to break what I'm assuming is the wire running between speakers in her Beats and I want to know if I need to buy this specific wire or if I can just grab a cheepie on some other site.

Some wires consist of many smaller wires, but yes, that's essentially what wires are and what they do
It's a Beats anyway, use whatever headphone wire you have.
