VPS vs Seedbox
I'm contemplating renting a VPS with 2TB storage to set up my own seedbox and filehosting when i get my next paycheck.
Does anyone have experience or knowledge about VPS providers in general when it comes to pirated content?
I'm already paying for a VPN, so worst case i could make the VPS use a VPN/Proxy for the torrent transfers.
I want full root access, so a locked down seedbox is not an option.
build an AM1 desktop, much cheaper. I think I saw the 5350 go for $40 on amazon yesterday.

Hosting my own server is not a possibility due to my very limited upload connection.
I have made a website with a database of my 1.5TB local movies using C#, ASP.NET and the OMDb API.
The plan would be make a login module so friends could download my movies from my seedbox.
I also have other plans for the VPS.
I guess my main question is the issue of privacy, piracy and how providers would act to copyright infringement letters.

If you're doing anything regarding piracy then VPSs are not your friends. Best you can do is upgrade to a faster internet connection for your home seedbox.

So even if i set up a VPN for the torrents and only a handfull of people will have access to the FTP and my server is not being advertised anywhere.
Will i still potentially get problems with the VPS provider?
