Motherboard manufacturers should release SNR measurements for their onboard audio.

Why? If you are that concerned about audio, you should be using a dedicated card/external IO

who cares you fucking nerd

I'm 99% sure Realtek does that with every new chipset they release, the problem is finding the pdf files and reading chink.

High end realtek audio is pretty amazing

My chinkpad has really good output with no audible hissing with my sensitive iems

The majority of dedicated cards suffer from the same issues that onboard audio have.

Why the fuck would you buy a shitty card?

The datasheets have specifications about the IC implementing the audio codec. The actual implementation by the motherboard assembler will vary greatly in performance
