What should I buy with a $15 dollar Google play card? I don't really see the point in buying apps when I can download most for free, so let me get some ideas

It depend on what you do with your phone.
I have an old Nexus 4 running Dirty Unicorn 6.0.1, and i've only bought 2 apps.
Rom Toolbox Pro and Titanium Backup.
I think this two are the minimum to have, if you test multiple ROM on your phone, or if you like to "try" things on your phone ;-)

If you have a car, Torque Pro is a good app to have.
Bluetooth adapters are ~$8 on ebay.

You can get them for free ever except in the play store.
