>what's the best ssd brand /g/?
Intel and Samsung. Maybe SanDisk too.
>Is transcend good enough?
Probably.
>what's your opinion about OCZ brand?
They're ok I guess

Samsung, intel, kingston
Just research failure rates and buy accordingly. Literally no other attributes matter in the slightest. SSDs are extremely fast, even the "slow" ones, just buy the cheapest with low failure mates, don't get meme'd.

Doesn't fucking matter. Any disk can and will fail. The only appropriate action is to buy two of every disk.
My assmung 840 pro is still going strong and probably still has a perfect crystal ssd score but I haven't checked in a while

can vouch for sandisk quality

Intel/Samsung
>Is transcend good enough?
Depends on how disk-intensive your application is. Chances are it will work fine (i.e. gaming, general desktop shit)
>what's your opinion about OCZ brand?
I'm a bit up in the air on this, I have one of the agility 3s that says it's alright but I get a nagging feeling it's lying to me.

OCZ is garbage. Go sandisk or samsung. Kingston savage uses MLC I believe those are good too.

Intel Represent here, still have an 80 gig X25- from 2008 working fine
I got a server grade Intel ssd S3700
Happy purchase
intel/samsung/sandisk/crucial
those are the ones you should buy from. ocz is supposed to have gotten better but i wouldnt trust it. kingston is LITERALLY the worst company you can buy an ssd from
never pay over $120 for a 500gb evo 850 or equivalent
never pay over $70 for a 250gb evo 840 or equivalent
be patient and never pay over $200 for a 1TB (usually a sandisk ultra-2 is the equivalent for this one)
end of story

>falling for the ssd meme
