Besides, it will have longer support than any Android phone sans Nexus. If OP can get used one with 64GB for 250-300 bucks, it's a great fucking deal.

The Nexus range isn't even well supported. Google don't give a shit about device-specific bug reports. Nexus 4 has no implementation of Android's echo cancellation class? Who gives a shit, ignore it for 2 years then mark the bug report as 'obsolete'. WiFi drops out when Bluetooth is in use on the Nexus 4? Mark it as a duplicate, tell nobody what it's a duplicate of, then close the report. Something else not working - well who gives a shit? Tell people to upgrade to the latest version of Android and hope that fixes it. If it doesn't, at least you'll make some cash off their next Google® Nexus® purchase.

Also the point of more RAM on android is to let you multi-task more, iPhones can't multi-task for shit.
