Visual Studio Code. Has pretty good ruby integration and is booming in the python community. I don't know about C++ integration though.

People are recommending vim for the meme supreme, it seems, but it's not bad advice, sort of.

if you want to program in several different languages, getting a language agnostic text editor is the best way to do so. Vim and emacs are both the timeless classics for that. Vim has a steeper initial learning curve, but is pretty easy once you get used to it, and emacs has a shallower initial learning curve, but takes more work to get a lot out of it.
