My desktop now takes about 75 seconds to load from file explorer since installing Win10.
Aside from that nothing meaningful has changed. It's slightly uglier than Win7 and there are occasional popups telling me to "Try Office 365 free for 30 days!"

Random shit will start to happen, trust me.
Some day, right click will cease to work. Another day, restart from sleep won't work. Then the graphics driver fails and restarts. It's frustrating.
If you block all updates, I guess you're somewhat save from this, but then you miss out on new features/fixes which are pretty common these days
