Why don't you want a mATX case that's the size of a mITX case?
optional window with GPUs for scale
>>53715692
The Prodigy is YUUUGE compared to most mITX cases. I'll stick with my EVOLV though.
So I can bring my PC with ease to University and back at the end of the year.
Corsair 380t reporting in!
>>53715692
Because I never move my PC and I've got the room for a full tower. No reason to go for something smaller
Manlets when will they learn?
>>53715692
Only acceptable cases are thinkstations, thinkservers, and thinkcentres
>>53716183
>>53715692
You can downscale the cerberus even further if you really tried.
The point is - it looks like shit - the handle is shit, and the sidepanel is bland. The prodigy looks better even though it's way inferior space-management wise to both of the other cases.
Always wanted a Lian Li but never built with one. Are they worth it or just meme-level?
>>53715692
My prodigy is mAtx.
>>53716336
>thinkstations
the ugliest of them all. Everything lenovo makes looks like shit. the reason people buy them is because they're functional.
>>53716386
I bought one and I won't buy another. All-aluminum sounds nice in theory, but in reality the screw threads strip out really easily. I never overtighten and I still have several stripped out screw holes.
The remedy is easy enough, you just tap a bigger hole, but IMO it's ghetto as fuck for a $150 case. My next case is going to be steel.
>>53716409
the matx prodigy has that horrid layout though.
>>53715692
There is just something about cubed cases that gives me a hard-on
I painted my Haf XB Purple. I've had it for years now. It's a good case.

this, the n-case m1 is gorgeous.

Autism. It's autism, anon.

but expensive
>>53715692
I have an NCase.
Although if I were to go mATX, Cerberus is excellent.
>>53715692
>200 dollar case
>they can't afford to include dust filers
lmao
i'll stick to my $60 node 304.
>>53716413
>there is no beauty in functionality
you disgust me, anon.
>>53715692
I do want it but I ain't paying $250+ for it. They should have went with Lian Li to reduce costs.
I'm looking for smallest possible case to fit full ATX motherboard, what are my options?
>>53716368
I don't think it looks bad. I think the shitty blue color doesn't do any favors here. The side panel is bland? It looks exactly the same as the others. The handle could be better though but hell it's just a handle.

>tfw I'm moderately okay with that window
Instead of showing a bunch of empty space and/or cable spaghetti it actually shows some technology
>>53716336
HP Z series boxes are way nicer looking

The Prodigy looks like a knockoff Mac Pro with an ugly logo and none of the power or expandability.
Is an old Mac Pro case worth buying to use as a PC case? Are all the regular brackets/connections there?
It just looks so good.

Sucks man. I'm looking for other options, but the closest is Jonsbo cases which always have at least one idiotic design flaw. Cerberus's side mounts made it perfect for me...

why not google it?

You just need to do top to bottom back to front airflow (I also use the psu as an exhaust because I'm an IRL-oldfag). Then swap the side panels so the one with the power button is behind the motherboard.
The drive tray could be a little better. The 2.5" drives on the outside fit well, but my 3.5" drive just barely clears my hyper 212 cpu cooler.
I really like the giant fan exhausting in the bottom. There are very few cases that fit 200mm+ fans without being a full tower
I'm considering putting feet on the bottom and taking off the handles.
Overall it's a decent case and well worth the $50 I spent.
>>53717175
no one wants to pay $250 for a plain as fuck case that doesn't even come with fans or dust filters.
also, notice how their stupid size comparison chart doesn't have the raijintek styx which is roughly 24.5 liters, it's micro-atx, and it costs $70. instead they put in a bunch of >30 liter cases.
But anon, I don't want a mATX case. I want a normal tower for a normal computer. I don't do LAN parties anymore.
>>53717175
Hoping the NCASE guys will come out with something soon. They're working on mATX next it seems. I really wanted the handle though.
>>53717175
They were talking about doing a production run even without reaching the target in the forum.
>>53716807
Well, your mother was very functional last night with the dozens of dicks she handled. Doesn't make her pretty.

why the fuck do they need $150,000 for a piece of metal

>>53721676
>>53720315
Oh, and $250 for a steel case. I'd want it to be made from pressed unicorn flesh for that. Hope they don't get funded.
>>53720315
>>53721722
You know the reason. It's made in the US as opposed to Ncase being outsourced to Lian-Li in Taiwan. The US company probably can't afford to retool to deal with aluminium.
>>53716336
That handle is stupidly placed.
