Does /g/ prefer Python?

Not really, no. The past few weeks I've been using it I've really been hit hard by how slow it can be, and the lack of things like tail call elimination amongst other things.
It's fun to use though.

Prefer it to matlab anyday. Its a great scientific prototyping. It can be a bit slow for large simulations though.

So nice and elegant for small stuff. Also some really cool one liners that usually take up 10 lines or more in other languages. Don't know if I'd really ever use it for a larger project
