Why aren't you using this yet? It's way faster for me than vanilla FF, and it supports all my addons.

>faster

Not really. It is slower for browsing because of the additional web development tools enabled in that build.

Nightly is the fastest if you can live with instability and breaking addons.
>>
>>53711364
i'm not using it because of this.
It happen to me every time, so i gave up and stayed on the basic firefox edition.

Nigga, you crazy? It's multiprocess and I have a noticeable speed boost from it. Then again, my setup used to be hella slow sometimes with all the addons I have loaded.

>>53711656
This ain't Waterfox. Waterfox is shit.
>>
>>53711665
Fuck, must be something to do with your GPU. I remember my cousin had a laptop whose laptop showed a black screen in Firefox back in 2010-2011ish. It was an ASUS with an Nvidia GPU of some sort, I can't remember what.

You're probably experiencing the Clean Install Syndrome™ which is usually what happens when people install another flavor of Firefox or even a fork, and then they are convinced that the program itself is faster when the actual reason for Firefox's slowdown is their ten year old corrupted user profile and patchwork of about:config tweaks.

Make a clean install of Firefox Stable (64-bit) with a new profile and it should feel just as fast.
>>
>>53712065
Neither am I, but what does it matter? Multiprocess support is awesome.

>>53712104
Nope, I actually made a copy of my old profile with FEBE and imported it.

>It's way faster for me than vanilla FF,

Sure buddy. Those sugar pills the doctor gave you cured your autism too. :^)
>>
>>53711364
Why would I leave ESR for the bleeding-edge version?
>>
>>53712116
Autism isn't curable dumbass. But speaking of sugar pills, thanks for reminding me to take my antidepressants.
>>
>>53712117
Support for newer addons? Also, DE isn't as bleeding edge as Nightly. It's at about the same level as Aurora.
>>
>>53712141
>Support for newer addons?
such as? I haven't found anything that doesn't work fine with ESR.
>>
>>53712159
The last time I used anything resembling ESR, it was Pale Meme, and Pale Meme fucking blew.

I prefer Nightly. But Aurora is the next best thing. Good choice OP.

>You're probably experiencing the Clean Install Syndrome.
No, I'm pretty sure he's experiencing multiprocess, which is legitimately fast as fuck compared with normal Firefox.

FF taken over by retards. Chromium still faster, and doesn't need special needs add-ons to fix the UI. All my add-ons for FF I have for Chromium now.
>>
>>53711364
>Why aren't you using this yet?
I was, but it was getting annoying how slow it was and how unresponsive it felt. Recently switched to chromium and it´s a difference like night and day.

I would love to stay on firefox, but I´m not willing to put up with it´s slowness any more
