How much do you pay each month and what carrier?

What's the most data you've used in a day?

What's the most data you've used in a month?

What data speeds do you usually get?

I pay boost $55/month. Most data I've used in a day has been 12GB and 35GB in a month (might use more this month). Speeds usually stay around 20-30 Mbps where I live.
>>
T-Mobile $30 prepaid plan (100 minutes, 5GB of 4G, unlim text/2G)
17-30Mbps depending on the area

>What's the most data you've used in a day?
>What's the most data you've used in a month?
No clue! I've never even gotten a warning of approaching the limit so prob under 3GB/mo. Unmetered streaming helps.

true but what I hear online is people complaining about their connections even in big cities.

the free market will solve the problem once the people actually want it

currently only neckbeards want faster speeds

otherwise networks would lay down fiber to get the $

I don't get the 4G hype. I can do everything with 3G:
- Youtube on 1080p
- Voip calls
- Netflix streaming
- Spotify streaming
- Even download torrents

Why the fuck would we even need 4G? Why isn't being invested in setting up 3G everywhere? There are still lots of dead spots where I live (Netherlands).
>>

>>53711209
3g or H+ is fine if you are not in crowded space like city center or shopping center.
>>
>>53711209
Probably because we'll need faster mobile internet eventually. Also 4G is much more than just the data standard. It also means better concurrent connections (as >>53711232 pointed out) in crowded areas for example.

I'm on the "Walmart" Plan from T-Mobile. 5GB LTE, 100 Minutes (but I have Skype anyway), Unlimited 2G/Text.
Most days I only ever use a few hundred megs at the most but on occasion, I have downloaded a large file on my phone just because LTE fast and I don't want to wait until I get home to start the download.
I've never gone over my cap (except when I was downloading steam games using my phone as a hot spot) so I assume I only ever use a few gigs a month. Speeds? It's faster than the internet I pay for at home but it has a cap. I have an android tethered right now and it's getting 50 ms 52 mb down 30 mb up.

>Most data used in a month
2 TB on the phone because I needed to move data in a hurry for a client
>Speeds
Depends on the coverage I mostly get 3g coverage so it's 30 mbits up and down omst of the times and then I get 4g I get about 100 Mbit speeds.
>>
>>53708377
Service quality always depends on coverage and network load in your area. I used to have boost but ditched them because lte was shit in my area and they never upgraded any towers. Speeds were abysmal, I think at some points 3G was faster than 4G. I'm on t-mobile right now, pay $95 a month but speeds are always fast as hell.

Oddly my uncle who lives in a different city has boost and uses his phone as his home internet. Says he never gets throttled and watches netflix often when he comes from work.

Anyway whatever data speeds you got with virgin is what you're likely gonna get with boost.

3 pay as you go. It used to be unlimited data for 15 bucks, it went up to 20 late last year. They are not changing the 20 to 12GB and 25 bucks for unlimited data. I AM MAD!
>>
Just got a 30 day rolling sim deal with The People's Operator in the UK.

>600 minutes
>Unlimited texts
>2GB of 4G data
>10% of my monthly bill goes to the hospital that saved my mum's life
>£6.99 a month

Feels.

Im with Bell, paying $85+/month

>max used 2gb of data in a day, because 4.5GB data cap
>most in a month was about 7GB when I had a 6GB plan
> Speeds are actually really good though, 30-150mbps down and 5-50mbps up depending where I am in the city. Too bad I cant really use it lol

Verizon keeps trying to fuck with me, and they know, and they know I know they know, but they know I know they're making too much money off of my account to have a legitimate complaint.

grandfathered unl. 4g ftw
>>
$3/mo for unlimited 4G
>>

This. This plan rules. even when I use up the 100 mins I use the free Vonage app that just gives VOIP with your normal phone number. Only issue is you can't receive calls with it.

Speeds aren't looking too hot here. I've seen over 20 before, it's windy atm not sure if that matters.

T-Mobile $30 plan, 100 minutes/5gb data. With Binge On and Music Freedom I use over 10gb per month

Just got kicked off my £12.90/m for unlimited LTE, texts and 200mins payg on 3.
Ended up going for 12gb at 17/m since I rarely approached that even with unlimited and three is the only carrier in the UK to offer so much data for so cheap. I tried hard to beat it, but it even comes with tethering so I just accepted the price jump.
Fucking knew it would end one day.
>repeatedly get 75-80mbps down tho
>no roaming charges at all for many countries
Its not all bad I guess
>>
>How much do you pay each month and what carrier?
T-Mobile 50$ Prepaid. Unlim talk/text, but 1gb of LTE/unlim 2g
>What's the most data you've used in a day?
My whole gig, it was a long month
>What's the most data you've used in a month?
1.2 gb, hard to go over when shit speeds kick in after the 1gb.
>What data speeds do you usually get?
Around 20mpbs up on LTE.

$90/year 1200 min+text+megabytes

Tracfone prepaid year of service card. I use a BYOP sim card in my G Flex 2 that is as fast as the 6P, but I got new for $180. Uses AT&T 4G LTE. Maximum savings.

Oh and I got 600 GB of data because of a glitch while transferring phones or because one of the reps I talked to was cool as fuck. I'm set for a LONG ass time.

I use the $30 Wally-world T-Mobile prepaid plan.
Gets 5GB of LTE/2G after that, 100 minutes, and texts. Can't be arsed to get a higher tier plan and the only time I get over my data cap is when I'm traveling and rely entirely on cell data.

Speeds in the Tampa Bay area range from 18Mbit in the shitty areas, 45Mbit in good ones, but on average 25 or more.
>>
>>53707513
>How much do you pay each month and what carrier?
$55 for 10gb, cricketwireless
>What's the most data you've used in a day?
15gb

32gb
>What data speeds do you usually get?
5-8mbps when on high speed, 258kbps when throttled

I'm in the middle of no where so there's literally no Internet provider in my area, can't wait to fucking move in a few months.

Why is everyone posting their shitty capped data plans? Are you all posting your poor and stupid decisions just to spite the OP?
>>
>>53719843
Depends on location. Most anons may live in areas that are either isolated or happened to only get capped plans from Jewified companies. Or perhaps live under governments who don't think having internet is important. i.e. Australia
>>
I have a government issued phone unlimited everything.

Verizon by the way
>>
AT&T, hardly use any data, unlimited plan with no throttling + tethering, $45/mo.
Whenever I test the speed it's insanely slow, though. It's usually around something like 10mbps, so I'm not sure what the deal is with that. No issues streaming 4k video without stuttering, so maybe it's just the way I'm testing it, who knows.

Anybody else have the grandfathered data plan?

Unlimited.

I'm on Project Fi. $20/month voice/text, and I have 3 GB data but never use it all, I pay around $30 a month, and get the best signal from either T-mobile or Sprint. It's ideal.

>>
>>53707513
>How much do you pay each month and what carrier?
i usually end up around $30 or so per month. Ting is all usage based, so if i end up using mostly wifi that can drop to maybe $24.
>What's the most data you've used in a day?
i wanna say it was about 2 GB. i was streaming some shit off twitch and completely forgot i wasn't on wifi.
>What's the most data you've used in a month?
it would have been the month with the day i mentioned above, so probably 3-4 GB.
>What data speeds do you usually get?
around 15 Mbps, but reception is garbage near my house and i can't recall what speeds i get when i'm closer to civilization.
>>
I don't understand smartphones. I really don't. The only reason i'd ever get an expensive phone is for the sensors like NFC and such.

Why blow 500 on a phone and another 40 monthly on data? Is the smartphone the new status symbol?

Same boat. Virgin throttles like a motherfucker once you go over the cap. Intrigued by boost, $60 for proper unlimited data and tethering, now I just need to find a moto g (local boost store doesn't have any and want one before I switch)

Amazon has them for 80 bucks but I'd get the lg volt instead (50 bucks) instead.

French here, 4 yuros a month for 50Go, pretty satisfied.

Yeah they sent a letter actually, telling me the 12.90 tariff is being phased out. Gave me a week to sort it (before the one month notice period would have screwed things up) or else I'd be moved to their "closest match" automatically.
I tried all I could to keep it, went to my store, phoned a few times and tried to reason it out, argue, get discounts, but I didn't get anywhere.

Most data used in a month has been 140gb+
LTE stays around 2-3 mbps
